HIV/AIDS OUTREACH
Our
current work with HIV and AIDS infected people involves befriending the
people who, like the man pictured below, are sometimes seen by others
as the 'lepers' of this time. We work with individuals who speak
to larger groups about the issues the people face regarding these
diseases. We seek to help the persons materially, as we can, and share
God 's life saving gospel with them. Support and assistance with their
medical needs are important and so needed. We've found that many whole
families are impacted with these diseases and that there is much
ignorance about HIV/AIDS. One man told us that he is HIV positive but
that this is caused by demons. Pray for this outreach of compassion
that God will once again touch and heal the 'lepers'. Pray for the
salvation of the sick here.
